How it works

1.	HCS partners with UPS/Fedex to offer personalized shipping services.
2.	We *strongly* encourage riders to make their reservations online. HCS will then contact you to confirm shipping.
3.	Plastic shipping labels will be sent to your home or place of work. View your state’s ship-by dates on the map below.
4.	HCS will arrange for pickup of your bike and/or luggage.
5.	HCS will confirm the pickup and track the shipment to insure its on-time arrival.
6.	Upon arrival of your shipment at our facility we will inform you via email.
7.	HCS guarantees on-time delivery of your bike to Try-Charleston.
8.	HCS transports your bike box to the Dip Site in Dubuque
9.	At the end of the event HCS provides shipping labels and timely return shipping.

The set prices below are based on a bike box that weighs up to 60 lbs., with a dimensional size of up to 130, and that is insured for $1,000 (additional insurance is available at $1.25 per $100 in value).

Bike Packing Recommendations

	We strongly recommend taking your bike to your local bicycle shop and having it professionally packed. There are horror stories about bikes packed at shipping stores. If it's packed at a bicycle shop there will be less risk of damage or additional assembly charges related to improper disassembly or packing.
	When packing your bike remember TAPE LINES! Mark your seat post height, handle bar and aero bar position with tape. This will insure proper positioning and fit.

Where to Pick-Up Your Bike BEFORE Try-Charleston

1.	Assembled bikes can be picked up directly from the partner bike shop, Tri Sports. Directions are given upon order confirmation.
2.	Riders who wish to self assemble their bikes can ship bikes with HCS directly to their local hotel.

Where to Drop-Off Your Bike AFTER Try-Charleston

1.	Bikes can be dropped off at partner bike shop for disassembly. HCS will arrange for timely return shippng from the shop.
